The idea behind this blog is to share stuff and project my art and thoughts out into the blogosphere, where X number of folks will remark excitedly, Gee, there’s this guy who gets excited by things that I get excited by and I am going to check in once every while to see what he’s got going on in his (formerly) small and (literally) insular world of influence. Then a bunch of those folks will, on the eve of some grand occasion, turn to a nearby significant something or other, or, quite possibly they will turn inward to their special dream of dreams place within, and remark , “Hey, let’s go to that bird photo guy’s website and buy something cool that will inspire and inform us for years to come. Avian something?”
“Oh, Silly, she said, you’re thinking of that car rental place, the ones that try harder.”
“No, I remember now. It’s in our Favorites list. Wait. Here it is. It’s Lanny McDowell Avian Art.”
“Honey, you are the Greatest! And soooo smart! I want to get the blurry one with green in the corner.”
Let’s get the sandpiper one too … for the guestroom in the guest house for the guests, I guess.”
Well, that scenario sounds pretty good on my end.
As Mr. Redtailed Hawk likes to say, “When you gotta da itch, you gotta scratch. Capisce?”
That’s the blog for the moment. I will be working on some cutesy enigmatic motto for this space, like See Farther. Maybe Seymour.
