Yesterday, April 5th, Warren and I went down a dirt road to access the Chilmark side of Tisbury Great Pond, which is split between the townships of West Tisbury and Chilmark, parked, then walked out to the opening to the ocean. The regulars were there, trios of Piping Plovers, pairs of AMOYs, plus an adult and a juv. Great Cormorant in with the DCs. Then we found a single non-breeding American Golden Plover, not too shy and probably really tired.
